Normal working hours are 6am-6pm, 7 days/week. If anyone
experiences water quality problems after these hours, call the
Police Department at 632-3344 and they can page the "On-Call"
person.

• You have a problem or a question with city water quality (most
complaints are handled over the phone).
The primary tasks of the Water Treatment Plant are to:
• Operate and maintain the Water Treatment plant, Raw Water
Pumpstation, two booster pump stations and four elevated
storage tanks.
• Complete treatment of St. Mary's river water into drinking water
and pump it into the distribution system.
• Perform bacteria analysis for Chippewa County Health
Department and for smaller local communities.
