The primary tasks of the Wastewater Treatment Plant are: • Treatment of domestic and industrial wastewater to return it to a quality that is safe to return to the St. Mary's river. • Operation of a series of sewage lift stations that is used in transporting the wastewater from individual houses to the treatment plant.
